From The Desk of Ms. Cozad:
There are just a few reminders this week first on Tuesday because we cannot meet on Wednesday, we will celebrate Veterans by wearing red white and blue on Tuesday. On Wednesday our Media class has created a video with the help of the Social Studies teachers and elementary school teachers that we will release to honor our Veterans on our website and social media. Make sure you check it out. Also, I wanted to let you know that on Tuesday afternoon we are going to send home lunches for Wednesday with students who would like to have a lunch. Please encourage your child to take one with them as they leave for the day! Speaking of lunches, remember all lunches for all students are free and they’re very good so I recommend letting your children get a lunch at the school! They will not be disappointed! Also, parents if your income has changed you can always submit a free and reduced lunch form to help with some of the things at school. Did you know that form can also help you with your school fees? I strongly recommend you fill that out if you haven’t already done so, or if your finances have changed. You can call the office to get one, or you can get it on our website. I need to take a moment to remind everyone that when you call your child off sick that you please, please make sure that you include the symptoms that they are experiencing especially as we are coming into flu season we need to definitely track these symptoms. And lastly parents, the primary way our teachers are communicating with you is through email. They don’t really have access to a phone all day to make a private phone call but they certainly can send you an email. They are using the email that you put on the emergency medical form at the beginning of the year. If your email is not up-to-date please do let the school secretary know, and please at least one time a week check your personal email because that’s where we are sending any messages. Have a great week and Go Mustangs!
Ms. Cozad

Just a Reminder Tuesday is Tie Dye Tuesday! Some of the best tie dye shirts have many different colors. Did you know that your plate should be colorful too? Not your physical plate you eat off of but the fruit and vegetables this is on it! We all should be eating fruits and vegetables of all the colors of the rainbow. Different colored fruit and vegetables have different vitamins and minerals that our body needs to stay healthy. Try very hard this week to look at your plate and eat all the colors of the rainbow. https://www.choosemyplate.gov/
The pumpkins came out great!
Awesome job to our Sculpture I, II, and IV classes!
