Congratulations Rylee Rogers!
From the Ashtabula County 4H:
"The Ashtabula County Top 4-Her Award may be given to a junior and senior 4-Her who have gone above and beyond in 4-H annually. 4-Hers are nominated by other members and 4-H volunteers for this award which is focused on the 4-H career of youth who have excelled in the program.
The selection committee had quite the challenge selecting their top winner, as all the youth nominated were deserving. Recipients of the award receive a certificate and Fleece Jacket and their name on the plaque that hangs at the Extension Office.
Rylee has been a member with City Slickers 4-H Club for 8 years and has taken many different projects including rabbits, chinchillas, foods and general projects.
Rylee has also served as Secretary, Vice President and President to the Club and has been the rabbit species mentor.
As the youth species mentor, Rylee has demonstrated strong leadership skills working with, coaching younger members, and guiding them in their project work prior to fair at clinics and events and in the barn during fair.
Rylee is also committed to serving the community and is always looking for ways to make the best better. Rylee’s volunteers describe her as living the 4-H creed. She always has a positive outlook and is looking to help others grow and do better. She is the 4-H member every 4-H volunteer strives to have.
Rylee is a humble person, a competitor and is a kind and caring person, and an extraordinary example of a youth mentor.
Congratulations, Rylee."
