Great Summer Opportunity for Students! Ashtabula County Manufacturing Institute Summer Camp 2025 What is ACMI?  ACMI stands for "Ashtabula County Manufacturing Institute," which is a collection of week-long STEM-to-career summer camp, where campers will relate their educational, hands-on projects to their tours of local manufacturing facilities.  Explore fun activities, visit local businesses and meet others to prepare you for the careers of tomorrow right here in Ashtabula County!  Who: Ashtabula County students entering 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade  Cost: $35 per camper per week (approximately $36.85 with processing fee)  Each camper receives a T-Shirt.  Lunch is provided each day through Country Neighbor's Summer Food Program or through Camp Beaumont if that visit is part of your camper's week. (Campers may pack their lunch if they choose.)  Friday celebration lunches are provided by Gazette Newspapers/Great Lakes Printing. For our GV students' convenience, Kent State University (Ashtabula)  will be conducting an application day and placement testing here at the GV campus on March 20, 2025 during 3A  for those interested in their CCP program.  GV has CCP College Writing, Research Writing, Trigonometry, Psychology, and Sociology and Computers courses through Kent State Ashtabula.  Students must know their personal email, address, birthdate, and social security number for the event.  Students are welcome to complete the application and placement testing on their own, by appointment, with Kent State. **In order to be eligible for the CCP program, you must secure a Letter of Intent by April 1, 2025** You can find the letter of intent on the guidance counter in the high school office.  For students who will be in grades 7-12th next school year
