Students in Mr. Dingman's 2024-2025 Physics Class are exploring Newton's Three Laws of Motion... not by reading about them and blandly writing them down, but by creating demonstrations that they will be presenting to other GV students.
The project begins with them designing a presentation demonstrating Newton's First Law of Motion, Inertia.
They will then explore the Law of Acceleration (Newton's Second Law) by creating an interactive project in which everybody will participate.
They will finally complete their assignment by designing a car that is powered only by a balloon deflating - demonstrating Newton's Third Law of Motion, The Law of Interaction.
As with any project, day one is always research.
Here the students are searching for ideas for their demonstrations!
Pick up is tomorrow!
3 or less boxes can be sent home with student.
