Congratulations to Mason Shreve on his 4th place finish this past weekend at the Division III District Wrestling Championships! With his 4th place finish, Mason will be traveling to Columbus and competing in the Ohio State Wrestling Championships!

Don't forget GVMS Family Learning night is Wednesday in the MS gym. Kent State has generously offered to help put on the night! There will be KSU swag bags and basket raffles for the students to win! Please come out and learn alongside of your child!

The Middle School 7th Grade Girls Basketball Team will travel tomorrow, 3/4/20 to Burton Elementary to play against Geneva’s 7th grade girls in the CVC Tournament which starts at 4:30 p.m. If they win, they will travel to Geneva High School on Saturday, 3/7/20 at 10:15 a.m. to compete for the Championship. Good Luck Girls and Bring Home the Trophy!!!!!!

GVHS students (and future freshmen) went home with their schedule planning sheets last week for the next school year. These documents and our 2020/21 Course Catalog are on our website under "Grand Valley High School" and then the "documents" link.
Schedules are due this week to the Guidance Department.

Parents and Guardians of 6th grade students: February is National Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. Julie Wood is an outreach coordinator for Homesafe and will be speaking to the students tomorrow about healthy friendships and relationships. She will be encouraging them to be supportive, honest, respecting, trustworthy and dependable in their relationships with others. A letter is being sent home today with more details about the discussion and her contact information.
Remy Isenberg won the state title for our American Legion Americanism and Government test. As an Ohio state qualifier, his history wit has earned him an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC!
We are so proud of him and our history department!
